Since teaching kindergartners to read (when she was in First Grade) Peggie Arvidson’s been hooked on finding unique ways to give back. After having her hands read by a hand analyst, she realized that giving back IS truly part of her nature…in fact, it’s embedded in her fingerprints which reveal that her life purpose is best translated as Successful, Innovate Mentor and Healer serving with joy and integrity in the spotlight.
Peggie grew up in Mahwah, NJ where she organized neighborhood carnivals and libraries for the kids and created, produced and starred in plays put on for the neighborhood parents. (What a great use of her Apollo star gift marking). She included every kid in the ‘hood as well as the animals in these productions!
She attended High Point University in North Carolina where she did something she said she’d never do – joined a sorority! And she transferred to the University of Maryland, where her sorority life sometimes took over more time than her intellectual pursuits.
She started her largest business (to date) in 2003 and sold it for a decent profit in April 2008 – right on her 5-year schedule) - - Peggie’s Pet Services still operates in Arlington and Alexandria and has repeatedly been recognized as one of the premier pet care companies in the region. She began coaching in 2004 and has continued to expand her practice and the tools she uses to get people to their most fulfilled lives since then.
Peggie is the Awaken Your Soul coach, certified professional hand analyst, a novice canine behaviorist, a member of the International Coaches Federation, a pseudo-animal-communicator and an avid reader. - August 6Prior to training as a Homeopath and Mind Therapist, I ran a business in the position of Finance Director. It was my own dissatisfaction with what would appear to the outside world to be a charmed life, that led me on my own journey of self discovery that ultimately changed my life in almost every area. It was this experience that prompted me to study the fascinating subject of change and to look for a variety of ways to facilitate change as quickly and painlessly as possible. Often our desire to change is suppressed because we are taught that change is hard, painful and takes time. This does not have to be the case. All change can take place in an instant.
My thirst for knowledge in this area has given me the opportunity to train with some of the best Therapists in the world. I trained in NLP with Richard Bandler and Paul McKenna, Meridian Therapies and Clinical Hypnosis with Alistair Horscroft, I have also been personally trained and certified by Benjamin Fry as one of his Happy Hour Personal Trainers, and I studied Life Coaching Mastery with Michael Neill.
